UAB "INGMAN LEDAI" is a joint Lithuanian-Finnish company, the controlling block of shares of which, i.e. 80% of shares, is held by Finnish concern "Ingman Ice Cream Oy Ab" uniting ice cream manufacturers in Finland, Sweden, and Lithuania. After the reconstruction carried out in 2004, UAB "INGMAN LEDAI" became one of the most modern and biggest producers of ice creams and wafers in the Baltic States with the production capacity of 20 million litre ice cream per year. The Company has experience of producing products with "private labels" and is ready for different kinds of projects.

In 2005, the turnover of UAB "INGMAN LEDAI" amounted to 8.0 million EUR. Sales of the Company in Lithuania, if compared with 2004, reached 4.5 million EUR and increased by over 10%, export volumes increased by over 70% - up to 3.5 million EUR. Major part of products - 44% - were exported to the Nordic countries. INGMAN ice creams are traded in Latvia, Estonia, Germany, and other countries. Export volume will experience further growth in the future, as well.

Since 2001, HACCP quality management system is in operation in the Company. In autumn 2005, UAB "INGMAN LEDAI" was recognised as conforming to the quality management system standard ISO 9001: 2000 and was issued a Quality certificate. At the same time, BRC Global Standard - FOOD certification evaluation was implemented in the Company. UAB "INGMAN LEDAI" was among the first food producers in Lithuania and the first ice cream manufacturer in the Baltic States meeting the requirements of the above-mentioned standard. A number of big European and global retail chains consider food safety system certification according to BRC Standard as one of compulsory requirements for food producers.
